George Ali / Co-Founder and President

George Ali - Co-Founder and President, Gulf Coast Technology Group

George brings over 35 years of experience deploying and managing IT solutions to GCT Group. George was CIO for StayWell Health Management, as well as CIO for an international technology consulting firm based in Houston, TX. Before that he provided IT management consulting for ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas), providing risk management and metrics management services. George has also served an Vice President of IT for Asurion, a cellular services company providing insurance and roadside assistance to over 10 million customers in North America and Korea. He was the Director of IT for MethodistCare and Senior Director of IT at NYLCare Health Plans, one of the largest managed care organizations in the southwest.

Prior to 1994, he served for eight years as the Regional CIO for Waste Management’s Southern Region and for sixteen years with the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, leaving as Manager of Systems and Programming.

George has a BS in Management Information Systems from Excelsior College in Albany, NY, and has served as a faculty member at the Managed Health Care Fellowship in Seattle, WA. He also served for 5 years as a business leader on the Data Processing Advisory Committee at North Harris County Community College.

David Wolfe / Co-Founder and Executive Vice President

David Wolfe - Co-Founder and Executive Vice President, Gulf Coast Technology Group

David is a highly accomplished, internationally experienced, senior IT manager with over 25 years of technology leadership experience in the technology consulting, healthcare, insurance, oil and gas services, and environmental services industries. He has managed complex technology environments, infrastructure projects, package deployments and custom software development initiatives for both Fortune 500 and startup companies.

Before founding GCT Group with George Ali, David spent four years with an international technology consulting firm based in Houston where he led numerous project teams in the successful completion of high-level infrastructure and software solutions for his clients. Previous to that, David spent five years as the Executive Director of IT for HealthHelp, Inc. and was the Executive Director of IT for River Oak Imaging, the largest freestanding radiology organization in the southern US with ten imaging centers.

Prior to 1998, David served as Director of Technical Services at NYLCare Health Plans, one of the largest managed care organizations in the southwestern US and was with Waste Management for eight years, as their Regional Systems Engineer for the Southern Region.
