GCT Group employs a “hybrid” model for software development where experienced project managers are at the client office to interact with the client and personally deal with any issues. The Project Manager then interacts with our offshore team on behalf of the client. GCT Group’s Software Development Team is located in Yerevan, Armenia. The team is an experienced and skilled group of software engineers who have been working with us for ten years. Many have doctorate and masters degrees in either Computer Sciences or Electrical Engineering and many are certified Microsoft Certified Professional Developers as well as MS SharePoint certified.
Software Visualization
GCT Group utilizes a highly effective process that is different than most in the software development industry – Software Visualization.
Very early on in the software development process, GCT Group builds an initial prototype of the user interface. It is this prototype that is utilized as the focal point for the remaining requirements and design of the system that is developed.
The prototype that is created isn’t just a group of screens shots or wire frames that one would expect to see, but a fully functional representation of the system. The prototype is complete with the “look and feel” that the client desires, screen navigation, and all of the web-based functionality one would expect to see in their planned system that gives the customer a true demonstration of the solution that will be delivered.
The prototype also allows the customer, on their desktop, to “play with” the application in order to provide better feedback.
